Kathleen Jowitt, contemporary fiction writer, is releasing The Real World, the sequel to Speak Its Name. This is a story about Christian faith featuring LGBTQI+ characters and their endeavour to maintain their integrity in the face of institutional prejudice and apathy. Kathleen Jowitt writes contemporary literary fiction exploring themes of identity, redemption, integrity, and politics. Her first novel, Speak Its Name, was the first self-published book ever shortlisted for the prestigious Betty Trask Prize, which is awarded to the best debut by an author under the age of 35. She lives in Cambridgeshire.
